Elmdon Park is a park and Local Nature Reserve in Elmdon, Solihull, West Midlands. It was established in 1944. Besides the children play areas, you can follow the lovely nature walks enjoy walking though the wild meadow, woodland and lakes.
Great spot to see such variety of wildfowl, enjoy feeding them, they’re soon become your greatest friend, until the bread runs out!
The woodland and park areas benefit from a wide variety of native trees and provide homes for many bird species such as nuthatch, Goldcrests and Warblers and some unusual naturalised garden species. The park can boast of having the one of the oldest trees in Solihull.
I can fully recommend coming here and spend a day out here with the family, but don’t forget the brown bread for the ducks, you don’t want to disappoint the feathers friends. My painting here shows the smaller of the lakes, in my opinion the nicer of the two.
Hope you enjoy looking at my painting, for many years ahead.
