Victoria Square, Birmingham.
Antony Gormley's Iron: Man which was donated to the city in March 1993 by the Trustee Savings Bank, the headquarters of which was located alongside the square. It is 6 m (20 ft) in height, and has been subject to mixed reaction by the public, at first I was not keen of the statue, but over time it has grown on me and for this reason I have include this as part of the story of my lady travels though the City of Birmingham.
The largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market offers a large range of traditional good and gifts and a selection of tempting food and drink. Pretzels, schnitzels, bratwursts, and roasted almonds will tempt your tastebuds, all of which can be washed down with gluhwein, weissbeer (wheat beer), or tasty hot chocolate. With over 120 market stalls there is plenty to see and buy.
Our lady is out tonight in search of that something special for her sweetheart Christmas present. Just hope he does not find it before, she hopes to see him tonight. She has something planned later on with him.
